What is NGO
An NGO is a Non-Governmental Organization and is often a non-profit organization. It refers to that it operates independently from the government. It is usually driven to some mission. NGO can be a large or may be a small and it can be operated Locally, Nationally or an Internationally. NGOs are mostly organized around some specific issues like People’s Human Rights, Peace & Security and for Development. NGOs are mainly part of the “third sector ” of society alongwith the private sectors and public sectors. NGO perform different types of services and human related functions, it also brings public/citizens concern into the knowledge of governments, monitoring the government policies, encouraging peoples for the political participation, providings expertise for analysis and also do implement in an international agreements. NGO’S are often very important parts/players of the society, they fill the gaps between the governments and private sectors. NGO also make raise funds through donations that can help us in operating. The term NGO was found/developed by the United Nation in 1945 to distinguish between government bodies and private organizations.

Ngo Registration Process
In India the process to register an NGO depends on the type of NGO and the laws and regulations of the state where it is being to be registered. Before registering an NGO we must do Research its structure, the laws applicable and what regulation should be apply in the area first. After this the name should be choosen and see whether it is unique and not similar to any other exisiting one. After it we prepare required documents including the MOA, Trust Deed and check Bylaws. If all ok submit the required documents to the relevant office as by address proof, then you also need two witnesses they should present at the time of registration. Then Registration Fee to be submitted and once the NGO registration process is completed you will get/receive registration certificate. After this you have to comply with annual requirements such as Board meetings , Financials statements and tax returns process.

NGO Registration Fee
For Registration of NGO, fee required in India, State/District it varies by type of NGO. Like Section 8 Company, Trust and Society. Aslo National Trust, NGO Darpan etc. Fee for NGO registration includes the government fee and a professional fee. Also others expenses associated with NGO registration as preparation of documentation, Legal complainaces to be done and government regulatory requirements too. Main thing is that before registering an NGO it is very important to do research to understand the legal structure, bylaws, government rules and regulations also see/ check that required documents are complete or not.
NGO Registration Certificate
NGO Registration certificate is a legal document that is issued to a Non- Government Organization after it completes the overall full registration process and confirms that your NGO is registered as a Trust or Society or Section-8 Company. It can also registered with NGO Darpan portal to receive updates on government grants and other benefits too.
NGO/Organization Pan Card
After Deed get registered it is given to the client. Next process is the NGO PAN card is applied, for it NGO stamp is made, hence in a NGO PAN making there’s no need of an individual’s signature, stamp is self signature for NGO PAN. In an applying of an individual’s PAN, their signatures required, but in a NGO PAN, stamp is a signature. Therefore it is very important to apply NGO PAN too at the time after Deed get registered
